Who wrote this? I haven't been able to find an author yet, and the supposed source repo (https://github.com/quantitative-finance-with-ocaml as per https://qcaml.com/appendices/appendix-e-setup/ ) is a 404.

Good observation. Also there is some funny stuff with what the book say referenced appendices do and what those actually explain

At the end of chapter 30 we have:

Next: Appendix A — OCaml Setup and Tooling

But the after the chapter 30, follows the chapter 31, and Appendix A is called

          Appendix A: Ocaml Quick Reference

And the link is a dead link.

This is just the first chapter but don’t expect anything different for the rest.

Thanks for the link, the summary structure was the same as a handbook on quantitative finance that i had read briefly in the past and it confirmed the impression i got whilst consulting that website.

I wonder if the prompt was: “write a quantitative finance with ocaml book. Make no mistakes”

Probably more like 'Here's a quantitative finance book, port over all the code to OCaml'

A lot of this is completely wrong for their Java comparisons.

    It looks very AI-generated.
